12ft Smacks boat
A traditional tender for an East coat fishing boat.
These dinghies are built of Mahogany of Iroko with Oak steamed timbers. They have an oiled interior with a painted exterior and a very traditional layout. They have 2 thwarts with a small foredeck and aft side seating. They are built high sided with plenty of sheer to stay dry in rough seas. They were designed by local shipwright Shaun White as a tender to the Leigh Bawley Helen and Violet. She can carry up to 6 people with an outboard and all can keep dry.
